We recently announced the appointment of Lukas Kurzman, a highly qualified and active member of the BEST community to the committee. We caught up with Lukas about how he feels and what he thinks the future of BEST holds.

A look at Dust to BEST

In April we launched a new feature for the Bitpanda Community that offers the option to convert dust into BEST, putting previously unusable assets to work. Since the launch, we’ve seen over over half a million conversions of dust to BEST and a whole new group of people join the BEST community. This initiative has provided our users with an efficient way to maximise their investments and has significantly increased engagement within the community.

Weekly users claimed BEST Rewards

Further evidence of the rise and rise of the BEST community can be seen in the number of people claiming BEST rewards on a weekly basis, with increases across May and June. In Q2 we’ve seen back to back record-breaking weeks for BEST rewards payouts, further highlighting the surging engagement and active participation of the BEST community.

The latest Bitpanda Spotlight numbers

The stable of new Bitpanda Spotlight projects continues to expand, with a total of 62 new, hard to find and fast-moving projects listed so far. And the BEST community continues to benefit, earning up to 5x free coins on top of any existing rewards, with close to €1.5 million in Bitpanda Spotlight rewards distributed this year alone.
