Broader availability for BEST

Recently, we increased the availability of BEST outside the Bitpanda ecosystem by getting it listed on Bitfinex and Bittrex Global. Both rank in the top 10 cryptocurrency spot exchanges according to coinmarketcap.com. While we want to give as many people as possible access to BEST, you should keep in mind that you can only get the most out of BEST by keeping your holdings on Bitpanda - as you only receive trading premium discounts, exclusive benefits, and can only claim your BEST Rewards there. BEST Rewards statistics

We know that most of you are already familiar with the BEST Rewards programme - but let us quickly sum it up for those of you who are new to Bitpanda. BEST Rewards is a loyalty programme that you can use to increase your BEST holdings by more than 12% a year!

All you have to do is: 1. Be a verified Bitpanda user, 2. Accept the BEST Rewards terms & conditions, 3. Actively claim your BEST Rewards once per month, 4. Hold BEST in your Bitpanda wallet (not Bitpanda Pro) and 5. Trade any digital asset at least once a month on Bitpanda (not Bitpanda Pro). Generally speaking, the higher your BEST VIP level and the more you trade, the more BEST you can collect.

We’re happy to see the amount of users claiming their BEST Rewards increasing each month. In March 2021, 103,955 users claimed their BEST Rewards, which is more than a 30% increase in comparison to January 2021, where the respective number amounted to 70,707 users.  

Moreover, due to the price increase of BEST, the EUR amounts paid out to users significantly increased. To be exact, in March we paid out €4,422,149 (2,833,436 BEST), which based on pure EUR numbers, is more than double the €1,747,532 (2,720,842 BEST), we paid out in February 2021.

As we can see above, 26% of active traders used BEST to pay for trading premiums in January, 2021. In February, there was a small decrease to 23% and in March, we saw the amount rising to 24% again. Overall, we are happy with the usage of BEST among our users over the past months and confident to see BEST adoption growing further.

Sixth BEST token burn to come soon

Our most successful token burn yet took place on the 28th of January, 2021 and we burned (destroyed) 35,722,204 BEST - the equivalent of €12,002,660 on the day of the burn!
