Bitpanda closed 2018 on a high note. New products, new faces and lots of new users helped make this year one of the best. Read on to find out what we got up to in December.

Full Wallets For EOS

After successfully implementing the dApp platform coin EOS in ‘trade-only’ mode, we have updated our wallets for full integration. This means that you can now buy, sell and send the coin without restrictions.

Security Matters: 2FA

This month, we reminded our users to secure their accounts by enabling ‘two-factor authentication’ or 2FA. This adds an extra layer of security which drastically increases the overall safety of your Bitpanda account. In addition to your password (which could have been somehow compromised) enabling 2FA adds an additional code which is randomly generated and time sensitive.

Bitpanda’s Birthday Present

On the 15th December, Bitpanda celebrated its 4th birthday! We wanted to share the cheer and gave all our users a gift: free trading all day. Happy birthday to us!

Social Media

As the company grows, so do our channels. They are by far the best way to stay informed about Bitpanda’s latest coins, products and features so don’t be shy — get involved and make your voice heard.

FinTech Connect London

Bitpanda flew to London to take part in the U.K’s largest FinTech trade show Fintech Connect. We gave a workshop on how to navigate the rapidly-changing crypto industry and how you can generate revenue streams with the help of the right crypto companies and it was very successful with loads of people joining in and visiting the booth.

New Helpdesk

We were very proud to announce the launch of our new and optimised Helpdesk. By operating even more efficiently by adding some significant, valuable and user-friendly changes you are now able to get the help you need even quicker.

Bitpanda and SOS Kinderdorf

Bitpanda is supporting the children’s’ charity SOS-Kinderdorf in collecting cryptocurrency donations for school projects in Uganda. The fundraiser is ongoing and all donations will go to educating young girls — who often don’t get the opportunity to go to school because of financial restrictions. Click here to donate Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple.
