Turkey has a vibrant crypto community but, in recent weeks, it has been overshadowed by shutdowns of popular exchanges and upcoming regulations. We talked to Bitpanda’s Managing Director for Turkey, Elbruz Yilmaz, to get insights on the current situation.

What Turkey's crypto regulations mean for Bitpanda


Elbruz talked to Bitpanda’s video host, Jessica Walker, about the restrictions that the Central Bank of Turkey has announced, which according to him were no surprise. What has had a negative impact on the market is the abrupt shutdown of two Turkish crypto platforms. Elbruz goes into detail about what really went down and what the recent developments mean for Bitpanda users in Turkey.
