Bitpanda wins EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 award

Bitpanda CEOs Paul Klanschek and Eric Demuth are honoured to have won the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 award.

The Ernst & Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year Award is one of the most prestigious awards for successful, sustainable entrepreneurship around the world. The expert jury considers aspects like growth, future potential, innovation, staff leadership and social responsibility. EY held the award ceremony for the fourteenth time on October 18th, 2019 in Vienna, Austria.

Bitpanda founders Paul Klanschek and Eric Demuth were very proud to receive the award on behalf of the whole team at Bitpanda at the Viennese Hofburg last Friday.

Our team at Bitpanda is working hard and with a lot of passion on making it as easy as possible for everyone to invest — no matter the budget. There are still some exciting features and products coming up in 2019, and we have even more ambitious projects planned for 2020.

“If you want to do something that no one has done before, you have to fight for it. We still experiment a lot and don’t accept no for an answer. I think this way of thinking has brought us to this point and will help us to succeed with our vision,” said Bitpanda CEO and co-founder Eric Demuth.
