How to onboard at Bitpanda Pro

Our team of account managers guides institutional clients through our seamless onboarding process. But this isn’t everything, as we also help you further down the road. We will advise you on API integration procedures, tailor-made fees for high-volume trading and the individual customisation of your withdrawal limits.

This is how the onboarding process works:

Go to our institutional page on Bitpanda Pro, click on “Apply for an institutional account now”, select “Business account” and fill in the registration form for business customers. When signing up for a Bitpanda business account, please ensure that you are authorised to act on behalf of your business, to be mentioned in the business registry extract (i.e. as director) or that you have power of attorney.

Required documents

Please note that in compliance with regulatory bylaws of the European Union, institutional clients are required to complete a verification process and to submit a number of documents:

1. A recent company register excerpt of the business you wish to register (no older than 3 months)
2. Bank account statements of all relevant bank accounts used for deposits/withdrawals (not older than one week)
3. A list of individuals who are authorised to access the account (if not apparent from previous documents)
4. A complete list of all shareholders in the company. (If another company holds shares of the company, another list of shareholders is required until the ultimate beneficial owner is identified.)

Your submitted documents will be reviewed within two working days and your account will be activated if all the required documents are approved.

Once you have completed the onboarding process, our account managers will schedule regular check-in calls with you to ensure that you have a great trading experience on Bitpanda Pro. Additional services include your own direct channel of communication with our developers who are available to support you with integration, as well as with our operations team to ensure speedy deposits and withdrawals.

Customer funds are never in danger with Bitpanda, as all funds are moved to cold storage immediately after a user makes a deposit. Bitpanda keeps 100% of customer funds in cold storage. Bigger transactions are manually approved by our operations team, adding an extra layer of security.
