Bitpanda is happy to announce that Lindsay Ross (formerly of global tech giants MessageBird and Adyen) is joining us as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to help us to drive innovative products with our talented team united by our culture and unique way of working.
The competition for talent is fierce. For any growing business, finding, hiring and retaining the right people is critical to your success. In a hypergrowth context, the pressure to not only do this but to also do this well is exacerbated by the sheer volume of new talent that’s needed to keep pace with a rapidly-scaling company. The question is “how”? This is where expertise with people and leadership play a pivotal role.

This isn’t easy, which is why we’re excited to announce that Lindsay Ross is joining us as our Chief Human Resources Officer to lead our People and Workplaces teams.
It took us a while to find the right leader to join our team — someone who not only shares our vision and who’s experienced with hypergrowth, but who also has the right energy, passion and empathy to do this with us. At Bitpanda, we like to do things a little differently. As a company, “classic HR” has never been our style. Instead of building rigid policies and procedures, we focus on empowering our people, giving them the freedom, trust and responsibility to make a real impact.
Lindsay has over 10 years of global experience in creating people strategies for multinational, hypergrowth organisations — from start-ups to multi-billion-dollar enterprises. Having been part of powerhouse tech companies MessageBird and Adyen, as well as Tommy Hilfiger and its holding company PVH Corp., she's seen growth, but more importantly, her “people first” mindset and track record of building high-performing, diverse and purpose-led cultures is the real differentiator.
We’ve more than doubled our team in the past 18 months, having grown to over 500 employees who represent more than 40 nationalities and who are working across 12 locations in Europe, and we have no plans of slowing down. For this next phase in our journey, we’re focused on finding the right people and unleashing them on revolutionising the world of investments because that’s how we’ll stay ahead of the curve.
