Meet Basim El-Shoura, Bitpanda’s VP of Business Growth

We’re delighted to welcome Basim El-Shoura as our VP of Business Growth. He will be the voice and face of our B2B2C activities, with a particular focus on Bitpanda’s White Label solution.

It’s been a busy, blooming spring for us here at Bitpanda! From launching our new ‘flexibility-first’ approach to work to acquiring Trustology and continuing to support the Italian Rugby Federation as official sponsors. We’re now thrilled to welcome a new talented Panda into our den: Basim El-Shoura, joins us as VP of Business Growth!

Why Basim?

Talent. That’s the short answer. We’re extremely proud of our ability to attract and retain the best builders out there. 

Before joining Bitpanda, Basim was the VP of Sales at SEI Novus, a portfolio analytics and intelligence platform for institutional investors. In his role, he led all commercial efforts globally, with a focus on top-line revenue growth. Before SEI Novus, he held sales positions at Allfunds, State Street and two London-based hedge funds. Capping off his background, Basim also has degrees in both engineering and finance.

The vision

With Bitpanda White Label, we’ve opened our digital finance infrastructure to B2B2C partners. This allows traditional banks and online platforms to create a fully-digital investing offer of their own, with the look and feel of their brand — all while leveraging Bitpanda’s state-of-the-art technical infrastructure and high regulatory standards.

With his experience and know-how, Basim will help us navigate the complexity of hypergrowth by rallying our teams around clear goals and strengthening our ability to partner with some of the world’s most prestigious banks and fintechs.

Basim will also enable us to instil a culture of commercial excellence across sales and customer success, ensuring that our White Label partners have a smooth onboarding experience and receive all the support required to achieve their goals.
